Coiltek1

Coiltek is one of Australia’s leading metal detector coil manufacturers with a global customer base, as well as being a trusted manufacturer of coil winding and customised wound components specialising in contract manufacturing, electronic assemblies and 3D printing.

This family business is owned by Natalie and Trevor, and in the early stages they sought business guidance from the Polaris Centre.

Natalie and Trevor's journey took a transformative turn when they participated in the Business Fundamentals Workshop. This propelled them to forge a meaningful partnership with a seasoned Polaris Senior Business Mentor, prompting their enrolment in the Mentoring for Success Program. Finding great value in the guidance they received, which spanned various aspects of general business operations – from staff management to devising marketing strategies for new product launches, and even anticipating potential unforeseen business risks – they continued their involvement.

Coiltek has been using the services of the Polaris Centre for eight years. We started with the Business Fundamentals Workshop and after this became part of Mentoring for Success. Polaris have assisted us in refining our systems & procedures, and we realised the importance of working on the business rather than only in the business. By taking the time to put key areas for business growth under the microscope we've seen new opportunities to expand, providing controlled growth & good revenue.

Natalie Michels, CEO

Fast-forwarding, Coiltek has evolved into a premier manufacturer of top-notch coils and customised wound components with a workforce of over 10 employees, a worldwide clientele, and a range of cutting-edge innovations. The growth in their operational efficiency prompted them to join the Advanced Management Mentoring Program (AMMP), specifically for businesses generating over $1.5 million in revenue. This program equips them with a structured framework to comprehensively assess their management practices and confidently prepare necessary reports that are invaluable in further refining their operations.
